Riverlea Food Fest
On Saturday 19 September, Milner Place came alive as residents, families and visitors gathered for Riverlea Food Fest 2026.
Following the success of last year’s event, Food Fest returned with a packed program of live cooking, great food, music and family activities. The event created a lively atmosphere at Riverlea, bringing residents, families and visitors together to enjoy the day and connect with the growing community.
Live from the kitchen
Proud Adelaide guest chefs Callum Hann and David Lovett took to the stage for three live cooking demonstrations throughout the day.
Across the sessions, Callum and David prepared a selection of dishes while sharing practical tips, cooking techniques and plenty of inspiration for the home kitchen.

Plenty to enjoy
Food trucks served a variety of flavours throughout the afternoon, giving visitors plenty to choose from for lunch or a sweet treat.
Guests also enjoyed free coffee sponsored by Hickinbotham and free ice cream sponsored by Simonds.
Live music added to the atmosphere, while the photobooth, giveaways and family entertainment kept the fun going throughout the day.
Fun for our youngest foodies
Children joined the team from Sprout Cooking School for free cooking classes, where they could get involved, learn new skills and prepare something of their own.
It was great to see so many young cooks taking part and enjoying a hands-on introduction to the kitchen.
A celebration of community
Thank you to everyone who joined us and helped make Riverlea Food Fest such a memorable day.
A special thank you to our guest chefs, sponsors, food vendors, performers, suppliers and event team for bringing it all together.
Food Fest continues to be a wonderful opportunity for residents, future residents and visitors to come together and experience the community spirit that makes Riverlea such a special place.
