Riverlea named South Australia's Best Development

Riverlea has taken out the 2025 Property Council Award for South Australia’s Development of the Year, recognising the community’s quality, scale and positive impact on local families.

This is a proud moment for everyone who calls Riverlea home. In just four years, Riverlea has grown into an incredible community with more than 2,000 residents, new parks, lakes, green space and a busy calendar of community events.

The judges praised Riverlea as a model for masterplanned communities, and now our neighbourhood will go on to represent South Australia at the national awards in Sydney later this month.

Walker’s late founder, Lang Walker AO, always believed Riverlea could set a new benchmark for connected, family-friendly living. Today, his vision is taking shape with schools and retail on the way, with playgrounds and public transport being delivered alongside new homes.

None of this would be possible without our residents and local groups like the Riverlea Voice Planning Committee, who ensure the community has a say in shaping the future helping make Riverlea the best it can be.
