Meet Laura, Project Manager
We’re proud to introduce Laura, Riverlea’s dedicated Project Manager overseeing the delivery of The Palms Shopping Village. With a strong background in construction, Laura brings a wealth of experience to the Riverlea project, having previously worked across our Sales & Discovery Centre, pump stations and sub-division delivery.
“I love the diversity of work and people I get to collaborate with,” Laura says. “No two days are the same. We’re always facing new challenges, and I thrive on that constant momentum and variety. What really makes it all worthwhile is the team. Everyone is passionate, collaborative, and committed to the vision for Riverlea.”
Laura’s journey into construction was driven by her practical mindset and solution-focused approach. But more than that, she’s a long-time advocate for greater inclusion in the industry. As the Past President and member of NAWIC (National Association of Women in Construction), she actively champions women entering and thriving in construction roles.
“I’m passionate about making the industry more accessible and inclusive,” she says. “It’s important to create space for women to grow, lead, and be supported in construction environments. I am always looking for opportunities to mentor and uplift wherever I can.”
Outside of work, Laura is just as passionate about her family life. “Spending time with my daughter is everything. We love our little adventures, especially trips to the zoo.”
Looking ahead, Laura is especially excited about the progress of The Palms Shopping Village precinct. “There’s something incredibly rewarding about seeing it all come together and finally being enjoyed by the community. That’s the moment we’re all working toward."
Her message to the Riverlea community: “Trust the process. We’re all working towards something meaningful and the support and shared excitement from the community really helps drive us forward.”
