New suburb’s lifestyle, retail hub brought forward two years

Walker Corporation has submitted plans with the SA government to approve an $80m retail village at Riverlea Park, including a childcare centre, supermarket, cafes, medical services, a pilates studio and a gym.

Driven by both affordability and connection to the CBD via the Northern Connector road, sales have almost reached 700 on house and land packages in just over 12 months - this is double what was initially anticipated.

Construction is expected to begin later this year, depending on development approval. The first tenants are set to move into the seven-building precinct in the first half of 2023. The complex will include 482 parking spaces, as well as the creation of a new road.
